Terms of Service

Last updated: November 4, 2026 (America/Chicago).

By using BlockPermit you agree to these terms.

The service

BlockPermit provides subscription access to building-permit lead data and related enrichment derived from public records for selected metros and trades. We start with San Antonio, TX.

No guarantee of jobs

Leads are informational. A permit often means another contractor already won that specific job. Neighbor and storm-tagged leads are intended for canvassing and outreach. We do not guarantee that any lead will convert into paid work.

Acceptable use

Use the data for lawful business outreach. Do not resell the raw feed, spam, or violate telemarketing / TCPA / CAN-SPAM rules. You are responsible for how you contact homeowners.

Billing

Subscriptions renew monthly or annually until canceled. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Accuracy

Public records can contain errors or lag. We deliver updates every morning as soon as city open data publishes (currently about weekly) but do not warrant completeness or accuracy of third-party source data.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior three months.
